Tanzania Project
Kevin Jenkins is in Tanzania. Rotarians can follow this adventure and worthy project at the following website: www.rhirotary.blogspot.com. While at the site please click on the sponsor ads as each hit provides money to the project!
The Table
The Rhinelander Rotary Board voted unanimously to continue with participation and support of "The Table". Fellow Rotarian Jim Brown will continue to provide valuable leadership and coordination of this community service project.
Board Elections
The winners of the recent election for club officers all won by "landslides". Kyle Gruening will be Vice President, Al Hofstetter will remain secretary and Al Ruetten will retain his position as treasurer. Thanks to all for your volunteer spirit!
Club Dues
There are still a few outstanding balances for club dues. If you have not received a billing statement or have lost it please contact Al Ruetten.
Inbound and Outbound Students
Ferdie has transitioned well to his new host family, the Erdrich's. He had a wonderful time on his vacation to Florida and has enjoyed his participation on the high school ski team.
Our outbound students are all doing well in their respective host countries. Al Ruetten has noted that there must be an ATM machine every 15 feet in Belgium as he can track his daughter's movements via withdrawals on a regular basis!
Next Board Meeting
The Rhinelander Rotary Board will meet January 13th at St. Mary's hospital, conference rm. #4 next to the cafeteria. Time is 11:45 and all club members are invited to attend and reminded that attendance can be used as a make up.
