Rhinelander Rotary Visioning Event

We will be participating in a facilitated visioning process for our club.  This new process is designed to assist Rotary Clubs in developing a three to five year plan, which is individualized for the local club.

The process kicks-off with a one-evening facilitated event (about 4 hours, including a light dinner) that brings about 25-30 members together to establish a base for the long-range vision and plan.

The visioning process will concentrate on the following categories:

* Club Vision (what does our club stand for?)
* Club Size (future membership goals)
* Club Attributes (future characteristics, features, and demographics of the club)
* Four Avenues of Service (Club, Vocational, Community, International)
* Fundraising
* Foundation
* Public Image

Our facilitated process is scheduled for Tuesday, February 23, 2010.  We will meet from approximately 4:30 to 9:00 p.m. (exact times and location to be announced).

Please consider being a participant in this facilitated process.  It is important that we have a mix of club members for this event.  All members are invited-new and old, office and non-officers, etc.
Everyone's voice is critical!  And besides, it includes a free dinner!

If you would able to participate in this visioning process, please email
the following information to Kyle Gruening:

* Name
* Email
* Number of Years in Rhinelander Club
* Total Number of Years in Rotary

You may email Kyle at:  gruening@nicoletcollege.edu

RHS Interact Club

Chris Lenard has spent a lot of time with The Interact Club at RHS.  We've had a chance to meet the students in the club over the past few months at our meetings.  Thank you for your generosity in donating to the Interact Club fundraising "Change the World" promotion.  It's been a pleasure getting to know the students and learning more about The Interact Club.  It's exciting to hear that it is growing each year.  Thanks to Chris for putting so much time into this.

Joint Rotary-Kiwanis Meeting

Our annual joint meeting with the Rhinelander Kiwanis Club will be January 6th.  Please note this is a Wednesday, so we will NOT be meeting on Monday, January 4th.

********* New Members *********

We do not have any new members to welcome this month.  Please think about people who may be prospective members and invite them to a meeting to meet everyone.  Just talk to Al about getting the paperwork for a new member.
